Hi, I’m Michael.

I’m Michael Weiss, a founder based in Austin. My current research project is Optional Bio, exploring therapeutics that prevent or reverse age-related functional decline.

Before Ai4, I spent three years trying to bring back the Worlds Fair. We organized four Worlds Fair Nano technology festivals—two in New York and two in San Francisco—with 5,000–10,000 people at each.

The events didn’t generate enough cash to fund their growth. In 2018, we changed course and launched Ai4, focusing on a technology we’d seen at the center of so much happening at Worlds Fair Nano.

I also started the Longevity Summit at the Buck Institute. This is a place for things I’m working on, questions I’m following, and occasional writing.
